Youth Programs

For the more experienced musician, AMPED gives young adults the opportunity to form a band and collaborate in a fun, enriching environment. Band members receive guidance from their coach each week as they build a setlist of songs to perform at SparkFest and other local events. Using music as an avenue for self-expression, each member will see improvement in their communication skills, teamwork ethics and overall musicianship.

Ages 11-17

Make rock ‘n’ roll memories in AMPED Mini, an immersive program for budding rockstars. With the help of a band mentor, students form a band and work together to learn and rehearse a setlist of songs to perform at SparkFest and other local events. Band members will gain an understanding of music fundamentals while also learning the significance of rock music and its roots.

Keiki Ukulele takes students on a musical journey through the beautiful islands of Hawaii. The keiki, meaning “little ones,” learn how to play songs on their ukulele while also learning the art, language and traditions of the ancient Hawaiians.
