Studio Policies

• Tuition is billed monthly. Most months have four (4) or five (5) lessons, and, on rare occasions, three (3) lessons when in observance of major national holidays. Months in which five (5) lessons occur will be billed accordingly, as will months in which only three (3) lessons occur.

• Student membership guarantees a regular weekly lesson time. If, for any reason, the regular teacher is not available, a substitute will be arranged.

•. As a service to our valued students, we provide:

•. Educational materials at no additional cost

•. Students may purchase additional exam or recital preparation lessons

•. Student tuition is due monthly on the first of each month and billed automatically to account holder’s credit/debit card

•. 60-min private lessons: 456/month (4 lessons)

•. 45-min private lessons: 274/month (4 lessons)

•. 30-min private lessons: 192/month (4 lessons)

•. 45-min group classes: 96/month (4 classes)

•. Student membership may be cancelled before the 1st of the month by submitting a 14-day written notice.

•. Cancellation will be effective as of the month in which next tuition is due. Student may withdraw the cancellation at any time before it takes effect.

•. Student membership is non-transferable.

•. Spark Music & Arts does not provide tuition refunds under any circumstances.

•. Spark Music & Arts reserves the right to terminate membership, in which case prorated tuition will be refunded.

•. Students are expected to be punctual to their weekly lesson.

•. Students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time.

•. No tuition credit or refunds are provided for missed lessons.

•. A make-up lesson will be issued when a lesson is cancelled with at least 24-hour advance notice.

•. Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice do not qualify for make-up lessons.

•. The same 24-hour policy applies to make-up lessons.

•. Make-up lessons are limited to two (2) at a time.

•. During the months of June, July and August, students may exceptionally put their membership on “Summer Hold” for up to two (2) months with a 14-day notice before the 1st of the month.

•. Student’s lesson time and teacher are reserved by pre-paying tuition for the month following a Summer Hold (Latest resume date is September 1st).

•. Unless requested in writing, Spark Music & Arts is granted permission to take photographs and/or videos of students to use for social media, brochures, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials Spark Music & Arts creates.
